The Rack Engineering Sheetmaster 100 series of sheet metal racks provide a space saving solution for use in metal fabrication. Designed to be in close vicinity to your laser, waterjet table, or other fabrication machinery where sheet metal is processed. These sheet metal storage racks feature glide out shelves with a 5,500 LB capacity. Stored sheet metal is easily accessible via crane or other overhead lifting device using a vacuum lift, hoist, sheet lifter, or magnets. Steel sheets may also be accessed using a forklift. Accessing sheet materials quickly and safely has never been easier. T-handles provide ergonomic assistance when pulling out shelves. For safety, opened and closed shelves are automatically locked in place. Sheet metal racks are all steel construction with power coat finish. Eight standard colors available. Optional pin table for easily separating sheet metals stack from the pallet - see options below.
Rack Engineering products are made from US steel and the highest quality components. They are expected to last for decades.
Rack Engineering sheet metal storage racks with glide out shelving are built to order with an estimated lead time to leave the factory of 6 to 8 weeks.
Rack Engineering Sheet Metal Storage Racks can be customized, some of the common customizations include: shelf capacity up to 10,000 lbs (requires crank out selves), shelf sizes greater than 72"x144", up to a 96" overall height. Options:
- Pin Table - separates sheet metals stack from the pallet. Using a forklift the operator sets the pallet of sheet metal on the pin table, the pins slide through the pallet leaving the sheet metal stack on the top of the pins, sheet metal stack can then be lifted by the forklift and taken to where it is needed - Model PINTABLE (see image above and pricing in options chart below)
- Folding Sheetmaster - the rail side panels that the the shelves roll out onto, can be folded in flat to the front of the rack freeing up floor space - Contact HOF Equipment For Pricing
- Rear-Loading Sheetmaster - alternative bracing (no X bracing) on the rear of the rack allows a forklift to load stacks of sheet steel onto the rack shelves - Contact HOF Equipment For Pricing
- Bi-Directional Sheetmaster - rack has both front and rear rail side panels allowing the shelves to glide out in front of the rack or glide out from the rear of the rack - Contact HOF Equipment For Pricing
- Risers - allows for the easy of loading rack shelves with a forklift. Risers are 2" tube steel pieces that welded to the shelves. The forklift sets the sheet steel on the shelf and then lowers forks below the risers leaving the sheet steel on the risers which allows the forklift forks to be pulled out of the shelf with no friction - Contact HOF Equipment For Pricing
