Morse Horizontal Drum Lifters, models 41 & 41M, lift 55-gallon steel drums weighing up to 1,000 LBS with the aid of an overhead lifting device. These drum lifters only lift drums in the horizontal (laid down) position and can lift steel drums measuring between 34" and 38" high. Height of horizontal drum lifters while in use is 10.6". Optional fork hook, model 284, fits onto a single fork of a fork truck, enabling it to be used as a hoist for the Horizontal Drum Lifters. Model 41 has an alloy steel lifting ring, steel rods and malleable iron hooks. Model 41M has stainless steel rods and spark-resistant aluminum/bronze alloy lifting ring and hooks. Do NOT try to lift upright drums with these devices.
The Morse 41 Horizontal Drum Lifter has an estimated lead time to leave the warehouse of 5-7 business days, while the 41M has an estimated lead time of 10-15 business days.
