The Vestil DTH-1000 Horizontal Drum Tong is a lightweight solution for lifting drums weighing up to 1,000 LBS using an overhead lifting device. This vertical drum lifter handles 55-gallon open or closed head, steel or fiber drums which have a ring. To use, set the locking lever in the locked open position, place over the horizontal drum, then release lever. The hooks will fall and position under both rims. As the tong is lifted, the hooks will engage with the drum, automatically disengaging when drum is put down. Clearance between tong legs is 35⅞". DTH-1000 Semi-Automatic Drum Tong is made of steel for durability and long-term service life.
