Vestil DRUM-P Forklift Drum Positioners models DRUM-P-55 and DRUM-P-30 are designed for easy single user operation. These drum lifters / positioners allow the forklift operator to quickly invert standing drums to a horizontal racking position and vice-versa. A positive latching system ensures safe handling of drums weighing up to 800 lbs. Mechanical operation relies on forklift to rotate and lift drums. Drum positioners feature a welded spacer to protect drum fixtures (faucets etc.) from damage when rotating. Vestil DRUM-P-55 & DRUM-P-30 features fork pockets that measure 7½"W x 2½"H usable on 20½" centers.
To Use: Slide the positioner extensions over vertical drum. Reverse forklift and lower the forks to tilt the drum to horizontal position at which time the latching system will engage to lock drum in horizontal position. Transport drum to rack and slide drum onto rack. Pull cord to release latch (and reverse fork lift) allowing the drum to stay on the rack.
