These suspended scales can be hung from the removable upper hook, or simply held in the hand. A captured lower hook allows items to be hung from the bottom of the scale and accurately weighed. The OS-series hanging scales have a maximum capacity of 22 LBS, 55 LBS or 99 LBS, according to model, and are operated using two AA batteries (included). An adjustable automatic shut-off helps maintain battery life. Units of measure are kg/lb/lb-oz. Rice Lake suspended scales come with a carrying case and removable top S-hook.
