Morse Overhead Drum Lifters, models 92 & 92-30, are designed to lift closed 30- to 55-gallon steel, plastic or fiber drums with a top rim, using an overhead lifting device. The maximum capacity is 1,000 LBS. Manually center the drum lifter on top of the drum and adjust it to the drum width. The vertical drum lifter will automatically grip underneath the rim of the drum. The slim design means it can be used to lift drums from tight-packed rows of drums. The Morse 92 and the Morse 92-30 can be used for: steel or plastic rimmed drums measuring 18" to 26" diameter; plastic rimmed 30 to 55 gallon drums; fiber drums measuring 18.5" to 23" I.D. and steel salvage 85 gallon or steel overpack drums. These drum lifters can not be used with open-top drums. Optional fork hook, model 284, fits onto a single fork of a fork truck, enabling it to be used as a hoist for the Vertical Drum Lifters. Morse 92 and 92-30 overhead drum lifters are constructed of all welded steel. Load tested at the factory at 125% of rated capacity to comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20.
