Morse 311 Drum Tumblers automatically lift and rotate steel, plastic or fiber drums weighing 800 LBS for a full drum or 400 LBS for a half-full drum. Drums are tumbled "corner over corner" to thoroughly mix the contents without opening the drums, thus eliminating potentially dangerous spills. Drum tumblers homogenize liquid, granulated and powdered products and eliminate sediment at the bottom of the drum. Morse 311 drum tumblers are easy to load with the drum in the upright position at floor level, using a drum truck or drum lifter hoist attachment. Drum is secured using a polyester web strap and ratchet around the drum, and two clamps on top. Drums must measure between 18" and 23½" in diameter and be between 29" and 37" tall. These drum tumblers feature an automated control package which allows the user to preset the tumbling speed from 5 to 20 RPM, and to set the desired rotation time, anywhere from a few seconds to 16 hours. Morse 311 drum tumblers come standard with a gated enclosure with safety interlock that shuts unit off when gate is open, satisfying OSHA regulations.
