The Elephant SA-2 electric chain hoist is a Japanese made, superior quality industrial hoist with an H3 duty rating, 4,400 LB capacity, and 10’, 15’ or 20’ of lift (custom lift heights also available). IP65 / NEMA 4x 24v 2 button hand pendant control hangs approximately 2’ lower than rated lift height. Single speed 115v 1 phase motor is insulated for heat resistance and damage mitigation. Solid steel sides and a sealed body provide quiet operation and protection from dust. Simple plug in type wiring makes attaching the hand pendant control and the power cord quick and easy. A limit switch stops hoist to prevent over-lifting or over-lowering. In the case of power loss, an electro-magnetic DC brake will engage to hold the load in place. The Elephant SA-2 electric chain hoist features a fixed top hook and 360° swiveling bottom hook with safety latch that will slowly open to indicate capacity overload. Electric hoist manufactured to meet ASME B30.16, and load tested to 125% of the rated capacity. Please note: this model is not designed for excessive inching or jogging!
