The Ekko EK40T-LI is a lithium battery powered 4 Wheel Electric Forklift built for heavy-duty material handling in warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities, and on loading docks for loading and unloading trucks. Max. capacity is 8,000 lbs at a 24" load center, making it ideal for handling standard 48" long pallets. Capacity derates at higher fork elevations and when the forks are side shifted. Key specifications include a 185" max. fork height with 43.7" of free lift, a Cascade® side shifter, 42" long forks, a pre-plumbed Shimadzu® 4-way valve for adding attachments, an AC drive motor, and solid pneumatic tires. Power comes from an 80v 230Ah lithium battery, and a 480V 3-phase charger is standard. 220V 3-phase and 110V single-phase chargers are available at additional cost. A 45.2" overall width and an 89" mast height give the EK40T-LI a compact footprint for an 8,000 lb class forklift. A hydraulic floor pedal service brake provides dependable stopping power.
