The Rice Lake 350-10-3M dual ramp wheelchair scale is a digital indicator, steel platform scale built specifically for weighing patients while they remain seated in a wheelchair. The nonslip metal platform measures 29.5" x 31.5" and stands just 3.15" tall, and two heavy-duty rear wheels let a single caregiver tip the scale back and roll it between exam rooms or facilities with ease, folding down to an 11.75" storage depth when not in use. With a 1,000 lb capacity in 0.2 lb divisions, the scale reads out on a five-digit LCD display and uses Motiontrap™ movement compensation technology to deliver a stable reading even if the patient shifts in the chair. Standard features include an antimicrobial keypad, tare and hold functions, a built-in BMI calculator, and both serial and USB data ports for EMR integration, with a wireless personal area network (WPAN) option available. Power comes from six included AA alkaline batteries, good for roughly 25 hours of continuous use, or an optional AC adapter.
