The Elephant DAM-2.5 electric chain hoist with electric trolley is a convenient, all-in-one solution for your lifting needs, comprising a high-quality electric hoist and a motorized trolley, complete with a pivoting adaptor to connect the two. The electric chain hoist is a Japanese made, superior quality industrial hoist with an H3 duty rating, 5,000 LB capacity, and 10’, 15’ or 20’ of lift (custom lift heights also available). IP65 / NEMA 4 24v 2 button hand pendant control hangs approximately 2’ lower than rated lift height. Single speed 460v 3-phase motors on both hoist and trolley are insulated for heat resistance and damage mitigation, and are designed for continuous operation for long periods of time with frequent starts within an hour cycle. (230v 3PH available as special order with extended lead time.) Hoist features solid steel sides and a sealed body for quiet operation and protection from dust. The hoist motor frame is constructed with high quality aluminum cooling fins, which help keep the temperature down inside the motor. Simple plug in type wiring makes attaching the hand pendant control and the power cord quick and easy. The pendant control comes standard with an emergency stop button. In the case of power loss, a double brake system made up of a mechanical brake and an electro-magnetic DC brake will engage to hold the load in place. The electric chain hoist features a fixed top hook / lug mount pivoting adaptor to the motorized trolley, and has a 360° swiveling bottom hook with safety latch that will slowly open to indicate capacity overload. The Elephant DAM-2.5 electric hoist with trolley is load tested to 125% of the rated capacity.
