The Vestil PP-2078 Hydraulic Edge Of Dock leveler permanently attaches to face of dock. Leveler is easy to install mounting to any loading dock with a steel dock edge or approach plate. A continuous weld completely across the top, and down both sides of the mounting plate is required for correct installation. This Vestil dock leveler features a capacity of 20,000 LBS, a ramping length of 29", and a usable width of 78". The service range is 5” above and below the dock. To operate, the Hydraulic hand pump system lifts the leveler and extends the lip. The operator then rotates the relief valve allowing the deck to descend and rest on the trailer. Truck must pull out for leveler to return to stored position. A concrete recess is not required. Recommended for use on docks that are at least 48” high.
