Vestil Slab Transport Racks, models STR-S-9764-4 and STR-M-9764-4-CK-1, are ideal for storing and transporting panels and slabs of wood, glass or stone weighing up to 4,000 LBS. Each slab rack measures 97" long by 43½" wide and features 8"W x 3"H fork pockets on 28" centers at sides and ends. Wooden boards are attached to the bottom and back of the rack supports, to protect materials from scratching or other damage. Slab racks come standard with (6) 84" long straps for attaching vertically and (2) 27' long straps for securing loads horizontally. Model STR-M-9764-4-CK1 has four glass-filled nylon 8" dia. casters: two rigid and two swivel with brake. Casters can be easily removed and stored on top of the rack platform when not needed, or when the rack is being transported using a fork truck. Vestil STR-S-9764-4 measures 64" high, while the casters on STR-M-9764-4-CK1 bring it to 74" high. Vestil STR Slab transport racks are built from welded steel with a blue powder coat finish for durability.
